6th RGNUL NATIONAL SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT LAW MEDIATION COMPETITION, 2024

 "RGNUL is pleased to announce its 6th Edition of the RGNUL National Sports and Entertainment Law Mediation Competition 2024 (6th SEMC) scheduled to be held from 29th to 31st March 2024."


Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the RGNUL, Punjab, Act, 2006. The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) was established in RGNUL in 2018. From the beginning to its 6th Year of Operation, CADR has always aimed to promote students' and researchers' interest in ADR mechanisms. To further its avowed aim, CADR has been organising the RGNUL National Sports and Entertainment Law Mediation Competition (SEMC) since 2019 and the RGNUL National Negotiation Competition 2023 since 2021. The SEMC is one of India's premier competitions in the field of mediation, pitting the best budding  ADR enthusiasts against one another.



FORMAT OF THE COMPETITION:

  • The 6th SEMC will be held in an in- person mode, in the lushful campus of RGNUL, Patiala, Punjab. There shall be multiple preliminary rounds by quarter final rounds, semi final rounds, and final rounds.


IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Last Date of Provisional Registration: 20th February 2024
  • Last Date of making payment and completing Final Registration :1st March 2024
  • Dates of The Competition: 29th to 31st March 2024



APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (Including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year, and Contact Number) latest by 5th February 2024. In case of any query,contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy found.
