CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION COMPETITION, 2024

" The ADR Board of the Department of Law, University of Calcutta is pleased to announce the First Edition of the Calcutta University International Mediation Competition, 2024. scheduled to be held from 23rd - 31st March 2024."


The Competition aims to bring together talented individuals fromdiverse backgrounds to showcase their exceptional Mediation and Negotiation Skills in simulated conflict scenarios. This event provides a platform for participants to develop thier problem- solving abilities, negotiation techniques, and communication skills crucial in resolving disputes amicably.



ELIGIBILITY:

  • The Competition is open to students enrolled in a five- year or three- year law degree program at colleges or universities acknowledged by the BCI, or erolled in any equivalent law course from a University/ college based outside of India.
  • The Competition is open to both Institutional teams and cross- teams.


IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Last Date Of Registration: 20th March 2024
  • Release of Problem Prelims 1 and 2: 1st March 2024
  • Release of Problem Quarter Finals: 8th March 2024
  • Release of Problem Semi Finals and Finals: 15th March 2024
  • Orientation and Training: 23rd March 2024
  • Preliminary Round 1 & 2: 29th March 2024
  • Quarter Final  and Semi Final Round: 30th March 2024
  • Grand Finale Round: 31st March 2024

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (Including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year, and Contact Number) latest by 15th February 2024. In case of any query,contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy found.
