ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION COMPETITION (ODRC) INTERNATIONAL, 2024

 "PACT, in partnership with Mediate.com, The NationalCentre for Technology and Dispute Resolution and The International Council for Online Dispute Resolution, is delighted to host Online Dispute Resolution Competition(ODRC) International, 2024 in collaboration with InternationalODR Forum, Prague, 2024 scheduled to be held from 1st April- 6th June,2024."


ODRC International is aimed at celebrating the best talent and technology that is enhancing the practice of online / virtual mediation around the world. The competition is expected to convene a rich fusion of youth and experience, and will be held completely online. Our History ODRC International, created by The PACT, premiered in May 2020, was arguably the first online dispute resolution competition to launch in the wake of the global health crisis. A pandemic baby in many ways, ODRC India was aimed at promoting the consensual dispute resolution through the use of technology. ODRC International has provided participants a holistic experience, ensuring they obtain maximum exposure – skill development, evaluation and networking – to the field of consensual dispute resolution.


ELIGIBILITY:

  • The competition is open to full-time law students (5-year and 3-year course) and full-time business and management school students registered under any University
  • Cross-University teams are permitted and encouraged. (You can have a team comprising members from various cultures and timezones, offering you a unique opportunity to connect) 
  •  Cross-Discipline (Business and Law) teams are permitted and encouraged. 
  •  A confirmation email shall be sent to those teams who get selected.

  • Last Date To Register: 20th February 2024
  • Preliminary Rounds 1: 6th to 7th April 2024
  • Preliminary Rounds 2: 13th to 14th April 2024
  • Preliminary Rounds 3: 20th to 21st April 2024
  • Preliminary Rounds 4: 27th to 28th April 2024
  • Quarter Final Rounds: 1st to 2nd June 2024
  • Semi Final Rounds: 1st to 2nd June 2024
  • Final Rounds: 4th to 6th June

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 15th February 2024. In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy found.
