" NMIMS are excited to announce the 3rd edition of the National Mediation Competition to be conducted virtually on 13th and 14th April, 2024, in collaboration with Camp Mediation Centre."


ADR is becoming a favored mechanism and is gaining moemntum in resolving disputed in our fast paced world, the ADRC of SVKM'S NMIMS School of Law, Navi Mumbai, is hosting its third edition of the National Mediation Competition that will enable the students to exercise their mediation skills within the ADR process of Mediation. The Competition will provide a platform for students to eceprience a practical setup to mold their skills while also providing them a forum to interact with other ADR enthusiasts from colleges accross India. The competition also provides an excelent opportunity to put theory into effect by having participants represent all parties involved in the process of mediation which includes the client, counsel, and the mediator.


FORMAT OF THE COMPETITION:

  • The structure of the competition will consist of Two Preliminary Rounds, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Finals with one singular proposition dor all the rounds supplemented by additional confidential information.


IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Last Date for Registration: 30th March 2024
  • Release of Mediation Proposition: 1st April 2024
  • Last Dtae to Seek Clarifications: 3rd April 2024
  • Release of Fixtures: 10th April 2024
  • Training Session: 12t April 2024
  • Opening Ceremony, Preliminary Rounds & Quarter Finals: 13th April 2024
  • Semi Final, Final and Valedictory: 14th April 2024

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 30th March 2024 by 12 Pm. In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
