6th MAADHYAM- VIPS NATIONAL ARBIRTRATION AND NEGOTIATION COMPETITION 2024

"VSLLS,VIPS-TC is pleased to organize its 6th National Arbitration and Negotiation Competition in collaboration with MAADHYAM, International Council for Conflict Resolution scheduled be held on April 21st and from 18-19th May 2024."


The comeptition us unique as it aims to promote excellence in negotiation skills and arbitration advocacy by providing an opportunity to the participants to explore arbitration and negotiaion both on the same problem in the same round. Vivekananda Scholl of Law and Legal Studies (VSLLS) makes progressive efforts to equip its law students to face the world by developing conceptual clarity and focus onthe creation ofresearch aptitude and critical approaches amongst students to prepare them to be compeitive professionals.


TEAM COMPOSITION:

  • Each team shall comprise of two students put of which one team member will be the Counsel and the other team member will be acting as client for the negotiation session.
  • Both the participants in the team shallact as Counsels during Arbitral Proceedings.
  • The composition of hte team is not subject to any change after the registration.
  • No  team shall be accompanied by a Coach/ Instructor.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Last Dtae To Register: 13th April2024
  • Release Of Propisition: 14th April 2024
  • Draw of Lots: 19th April 2024
  • Preliminary and Quarter Final Rounds: 21st April 2024 (Virtual Mode)
  • Semi Final Rounds:18th May 2024 (Offline Mode)
  • Final Rounds: 19th May 2024 (Offline mode)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 12th April 2024 by 5:00 Pm. In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
