7th NLIU–Singhania & Partners National Client Counselling Competition, 2025

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will be conducted offline at NLIU, Bhopal from 3rd–5th October 2025 and will simulate real client–counsel interactions. Each round will have two segments: a Client Consultation Session, where participants extract information, analyse issues, and advise the client, and a Post-Consultation Session, where participants discuss their analysis, recommendations, and possible alternatives. The competition will have two Preliminary Rounds, after which the top four teams qualify for the Semi-Finals, and the best two teams advance to the Final Round. The winner will be declared based on the highest score in the finals
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The competition is open to all undergraduate (5-year law programme) and professional (3-year law programme) students of law enrolled in a recognised institution. A maximum of two teams per institution are permitted, with the second slot allotted only if slots remain after accommodating all institutions. Participation is capped at 20 teams on a first-come, first-served basis.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team shall consist of two members who will act as Client Counsels throughout the competition. Team members cannot be changed once registered, except with prior approval in exceptional circumstances.

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Last Date for Provisional Registration: 16th September 2025

  • Last Date for Final Registration: 26th September 2025

  • Competition Rounds (Offline at NLIU, Bhopal): 3rd–5th October 2025



    REGISTRATION FEES:

  • ₹10,000 per team (non-refundable).
    Payment modalities and further details will be shared with selected teams after provisional registration

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  15th September 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

We are pleased to announce that the 4th NALSAR National Mediation Competition 2025  will be held in person from   24 January – 26 January 2025 EVENT NAME: 4th NALSAR National Mediation Tournament 2025 FORMAT: The Competition comprises of three Preliminary Rounds, Semi-finals and  the Final Round.  Each team must comprise of 3 members - one Mediator,  one Client and one Counsel. The roles of the participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the Competition. Each Round shall comprise of a Client-Counsel pair from each Side and 2 Mediators. What makes the NMT unique is that there will only be one single Problem  with evolving and increasingly complex Confidential Information (CI') given as the Rounds advance.
