ADR ODR INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATION COMPETITION 2025

FORMAT:
The competition comprises a single category:

Negotiator Teams:
Each team will consist of three members who will participate in simulated negotiation sessions. These sessions are designed to reflect real-world scenarios, emphasizing the development of practical negotiation skills, understanding of conflict resolution principles, and awareness of cross-cultural issues in negotiations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Open to business and law students worldwide.

  • Participants must be current students or recent graduates (graduated within the last 12 months).

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Registration & Briefing: 13th November 2024

  • Competition Dates: 14th – 15th November 2024

  • Venue: Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Academy and the Ismaili Centre, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE.

REGISTRATION FEES:

  • Team Fee: $600 USD per team

  • Coach Fee: $200 USD per coach (optional)
    Note: Fees do not include travel, accommodation, or meals.

Interested students must fill out the ADR APPLICATION FORM by 20th August 2025.

We are pleased to announce that the 4th NALSAR National Mediation Competition 2025  will be held in person from   24 January – 26 January 2025 EVENT NAME: 4th NALSAR National Mediation Tournament 2025 FORMAT: The Competition comprises of three Preliminary Rounds, Semi-finals and  the Final Round.  Each team must comprise of 3 members - one Mediator,  one Client and one Counsel. The roles of the participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the Competition. Each Round shall comprise of a Client-Counsel pair from each Side and 2 Mediators. What makes the NMT unique is that there will only be one single Problem  with evolving and increasingly complex Confidential Information (CI') given as the Rounds advance. The allotment of Sides may change after each Round.
