EVENT NAME:

2nd International Client Counselling Competition 2025 (Hybrid Mode)

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will feature four progressive rounds: the Preliminary Round will be held online on 25th August 2025, with 30 teams divided into two groups, each team allotted 20 minutes for Client Consultation and 5 minutes for Post-Consultation; the Quarter-Final Round, scheduled online for 26th August 2025, will see the top 8 teams (4 from each group) engage in 30 minutes of Client Consultation followed by 10 minutes of Post-Consultation; the Semi-Final Round, also online on 26th August 2025, will feature the top 4 teams with the same time allocation as the Quarter-Finals; and the Final Round, conducted offline at Manipal University Jaipur on 4th September 2025, will have the top 2 teams compete in 40 minutes of Client Consultation and 10 minutes of Post-Consultation, with case problems for each round being provided at least three hours prior to commencement.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Participation is open to students enrolled in three-year or five-year integrated law degree programmes from any recognised university, college, school, or department of law. Postgraduate law students (LL.M. or equivalent), diploma/certificate course students, and part-time law students are not eligible. Each institution can send a maximum of three teams.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team must consist of two members only, both acting as legal counsel throughout all rounds. No mixed-institution teams are allowed. Changes in composition are permitted only in genuine emergencies with prior written approval from the Organising Committee.

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Preliminary Round: 25th August 2025(Online)

  • Quarter-Final Rounds: 26th August 2025 (Online)

  • Semi-Final Rounds: 26th August 2025 (Online)

  • Final Round:  4th September 2025 (Offline at MUJ Campus)

REGISTRATION FEES:

INR 3500/- per team (non-refundable).
Accommodation (for finalists only) will be provided on campus for an additional fee, covering stay, food, and local transportation.

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  18th August 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

We are pleased to announce that the 4th NALSAR National Mediation Competition 2025  will be held in person from   24 January – 26 January 2025 EVENT NAME: 4th NALSAR National Mediation Tournament 2025 FORMAT: The Competition comprises of three Preliminary Rounds, Semi-finals and  the Final Round.  Each team must comprise of 3 members - one Mediator,  one Client and one Counsel. The roles of the participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the Competition. Each Round shall comprise of a Client-Counsel pair from each Side and 2 Mediators. What makes the NMT unique is that there will only be one single Problem  with evolving and increasingly complex Confidential Information (CI') given as the Rounds advance.
