Event Name NLUO National Negotiation Competition 2026 Organised by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board , National Law University Odisha (NLUO), Cuttack FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition begins with a Negotiation Plan Qualifier , where all registered teams are required to prepare and submit a detailed Negotiation Plan based on the General Information released by the organisers. These plans are evaluated by an expert panel, and the top 24 teams are shortlisted for the offline negotiation rounds . The shortlisted teams then participate in two Preliminary Rounds , followed by Advanced Rounds comprising the Octa-Finals, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final Round , determined on the basis of scores as per the Rulebook. FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition simulates a real-world law office consultation and will be conducted in three rounds : the Preliminary Round , Quarter-Final Round , and the Final Round . All registered teams compete in the Preliminary Round, where an office memorandum and client are provided on the spot.
