EVENT NAME: 1st National Corporate Due Diligence Competition, 2025 FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition will consist of two rounds: Round 1 – Identification & Redrafting , where teams will be provided with a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) containing erroneous clauses that they must identify, color-code based on risk severity (red for high, yellow for moderate, green for low), and redraft to safeguard their client’s interests; and Round 2 – Negotiation , where teams will engage directly with counterparts to negotiate the retention, amendment, or removal of clauses, with matchups determined by Round 1 rankings. The winners will be declared on the basis of their cumulative performance, with equal weightage given to both the drafting and negotiation rounds (50% each). It will include Preliminary Rounds followed by Octa-Finals, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final Round .
