The Thomas Jefferson School of Law's Center for Sports Law & Policy (CSLP) in San Diego, California, serves as the venue and organizer of the yearly National Sports Law Negotiation Competition (NSLNC). The NSLNC, which is now in its tenth year, is widely considered as one of the best law student negotiating competitions in the nation.     The fact patterns for the NSLNC are modelled on current issues being debated, analyzed , and negotiated by professionals in the sports industry. Student competitors negotiate these fictional - but highly realistic - disputes before a panel of judges consisting of practicing lawyers, judges, professors, and mediators.
