CALL FOR APPLICATION: National Virtual Mediation Competition 15th-17th August 2020
Greetings!
AILSF is proud to present National Virtual Mediation Competition from 15th- 17th August 2020. The Competition will be conducted virtually allowing the students to hone their advocacy skills with respect to mediation. Considering the communication gap because of the outbreak of the pandemic, students can
not only take part as a team but also participate individually. This Competition will provide an opportunity to the participants to develop the requisite skills for a dynamic process of Mediation.

Dates-
Competition on 15th to 17th August 2020
Registration Fee-
Team rounds: INR 900/- (Rupees Nine Hundred only)
Individual rounds: INR 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only)
Team composition-
For team Rounds- Each team shall comprise of three students consisting of one Mediator, one Counsel and one Client. The students forming one team may be from different institutions. The roles which have been pre-assigned by the team shall be carried forward throughout the Competition, in every round. Change of roles after the registration shall not be entertained.
For Individual Rounds- Considering the outbreak of the pandemic this year, the
Organising Committee has provided the students with an opportunity to conveniently participate individually. Wherein a student will be allotted the role of the Counsel on behalf of
either of the Parties or he/she may be allotted the role of the Mediator. The roles shall change in every progressive round. The allotment of the roles before each round will be done by the
Organising Committee and the same will be communicated to the participants.

Application Procedure-
The interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to aprajita.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in latest by July 27th, 2020
In case of any query, contact team LAC but kindly do not upload wrong information; for the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
