3rd JGLS–Khaitan & Co Negotiation Competition 2026

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will be conducted in two stages. First, all provisionally registered teams will participate in the Negotiation Plan Round (8th–15th October 2025), where they will submit detailed negotiation strategies based on the released problem. The top 16 teams from this stage will qualify for the oral rounds held on-campus at O.P. Jindal Global University on 7th–8th February 2026, which will include Qualifier Rounds, Semi-Finals, and Finals, testing participants’ advocacy, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in live negotiation settings.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The competition is open to law students enrolled in 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programmes in India, registered as full-time students for the academic year 2025–2026.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each institution may send only one negotiating team comprising two members. These members will participate together in the Negotiation Plan Round, and if selected, in the oral rounds at JGU.

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Deadline for Registration (Provisional Form): 5th October 2025

  • Release of Negotiation Plan Problem: 8th October 2025

  • Submission of Negotiation Plan: 15th October 2025

  • Declaration of Qualified Teams (Top 16): 9th November 2025

  • Deadline for Confirmation of Participation (Round 2): 30th November 2025

  • Arrival of Teams at JGU: 6th February 2026

  • Qualifier Rounds: 7th February 2026

  • Semi-Finals and Finals: 8th February 2026

  • Closing Ceremony & Award Distribution: 8th February 2026



APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  3rd October 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

EVENT NAME: Mediation Bombay 6.0 – International Dispute Resolution Competition (2025-26) FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition will be held in a hybrid format , with Preliminary Rounds online from 9th–12th October 2025 and advanced rounds offline at MNLU Mumbai on 7th–8th March 2026 . Teams will first compete in four prelims, after which the top 16 advance to the Octa-Finals, 12 to the Quarter-Finals, and 6 to the Semi-Finals (which also serve as the final round for mediators).
