CALL FOR APPLICATION- 1st Ratan K Singh National Negotiation Competition, 2020.

Greetings from Nyayshastram!  

Nyayshastram is a student-run organisation under the Chairmanship of Mr Ratan K Singh, Advocate & Arbitrator, Supreme Court of India along with the aid and advice from eminent Lawyers and Academicians across the nation. The initiative is aimed to foster legal research, writing and presentation by providing a platform to encourage e-learning through various competitions and events conducted utilising the virtual platforms.

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to participate in the “1st Ratan K Singh National Negotiation Competition, 2020”, which shall be held virtually from 30th October 2020 to 1st November 2020. The competition is being organised in association with Chambers of Ratan K Singh & Fiducia Legal, Advocates & Solicitors, New Delhi, in Support from Society of Construction Law, India and Justice For Rights Foundation as the knowledge partner.

Each institution shall be given three slots out of which two shall be confirmed, and one shall be subject to availability after the registrations are closed. The third team then will be asked to fill the registration form by paying the requisite fee.


Dates- Competition on 30th October-1st November, 2020.

Registration- There shall be a registration fee of Rs 800/- per team for participating in  the competition and is payable through transferring the money to bank  account only. 

Team Composition- Students have to form a team of two comprising- one student as  “Counsel/Advocate” and one student as “Client”.


The institutions are requested to register for the slots and shall express their interest in sending a third team. The consideration to the third team shall be given on a first-come basis.

Application Procedure-

The interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to aprajita.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in latest by October 4th, 2020.
