CALL FOR APPLICATION: KFCRI 1st Virtual National Mediation Competition 2020

Dear Students, 

 KFCRI’s 1st Virtual National Mediation Competition from September 9th, 2020 to September 12th, 2020 aims to create awareness about the amicable way of resolving disputes that mediation professes and the way of putting an end to the disputes without undergoing arduous trials. Also, in the light of the recent notification from the Bar Council of India which mandates the inclusion of Mediation as a compulsory subject in all Universities and Centers of Legal Education, it becomes pivotal to educate the students about the art of Mediation to understand its true benefits.  



Online platform- To be conducted through Zoom App.


Dates-

Submission of Mediation Plan by the teams (for the Preliminary Round only) 9th September 2020 

Inaugural for the Competition 10th September 2020 

Preliminary Round 10th September 2020 

Quarter-final and Semi-final Round 11th September 2020 

Final Round and Valedictory 12th September 2020  


Registration Fee-: 

• For Team (Client-Counsel Pair + Mediator)= Rs. 1000/team 

• For Client-Counsel Pair= Rs. 700/pair 

• For Mediator= Rs. 300/participant

Application Procedure-

The interested students MUST inform at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to afkar@ddn.upes.ac.in beforehand of their participation latest by 3 pm, Tomorrow i.e September 3rd, 2020. 

In case of any query, contact team LAC-ADR but do not upload any wrong credentials, for that would result into rejection of appications; if any discrepency is found.
