CALL FOR APPLICATION: INTERCESSIONIS 2021, National Mediation Competition organized by ILS

 We cordially invite you to participate in the fourth edition of INTERCESSIONIS 2021, a National Mediation Competition organized by ILS Centre for Arbitration (ILSCA) in association with ADR ODR International from 5th March- 7th March, 2021. 

This year, due to the pandemic situation, we will be conducting the competition online, to further encourage Online Dispute Resolution. Pursuant to the same, we have herewith attached the official brochure and rulebook of the competition for your perusal.

ILS hoc and also institutional arbitration and mediation, both in domestic as well as  International spheres. Ms. Sathya Narayan has served as the distinguished  Director of ILSCA, as well as the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) at  Pune, steering the dynamic activities undertaken by the organization. 

ILSCA is a neutral, independent, and non-political and non-profit organization,  which is established to facilitate the impartial administration of ADR proceedings  and help to promote a cordial and rational settlement of disputes between parties  through various methods of dispute resolution. 

The ILSCA continuously strives to educate, train and indoctrinate the student  fraternity, the professionals, the law faculty with the ethos of Alternative Dispute  Resolution Methods. Recently, ILSCA has successfully launched its own ADR Blog  “THE ILSCA ADR BLOG” aimed to promote and cultivate the diverse field of  ADR through an enriching and interactive academic forum. ILSCA also  collaborates with other professional institutes, wherever necessary, for accrediting Arbitrators and Mediators. 

The ADR Cell proceeds with the aim of inculcating and nurturing the  spirit of ADR amongst the student community at ILS, Pune as well as  other law colleges. It organizes mock negotiation/mediation practice  sessions and workshops with prominent personal in the field of ADR, as  well as its own Intra-College Mediation which operates as the qualifier  rounds for student participation in various national and international  mediation competitions. Since its inception, it has continually strived to  create a bustling and active ADR culture across the student and  academic community. 

ELIGIBILITY: Students pursuing their five-year integrated degree or a three-year bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized University/College are eligible to participate in the tournament.

REGISTRATION PROCESS: Each participating university/college/institute team shall consist of two students as  negotiators and one student as the mediator.

REGISTRATION FEE: 6000/- + 18% GST

DATE OF THE COMPETITION: 5th-7th March

 Application Procedure-

The interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to  aprajita.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in latest by January  24th, 2021 before 12:00AM.


In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; for the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
