VMSCL-AIDR International Dispute Resolution Competition- LEX INFINITUM 2022

Lex Infinitum aims at promoting and encouraging the culture of ADR, in India as well as globally. The widespread use of ADR can only be accomplished by enhancing the popularity of ADR techniques among the up-and-coming aspirants of the legal fraternity.

The Competition is judged by accredited mediators and trained ADR experts which provide the students with one of the finest platforms to showcase their ADR skills as they compete with the cream of the crop of the student-legal fraternity, along with an opportunity to network with some of the world's most renowned professionals in the field of consensual dispute resolution and benefit from their experience and expertise.

The 6th edition of Lex Infinitum, the first time it was organized Online, was a resounding success and saw the attendance of several Universities, Colleges and ADR Professionals from all over the globe! We hosted 36 Teams and 18 Mediators from 5 continents of the world, in what was the most diverse Edition of Lex Infinitum thus far. The Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland bagged the Best Negotiating Team Award while the National University of Singapore bagged the Best Mediator Award.

In spite of the widespread vaccinations and the Organizing Committee’s wish to conduct the Competition on the ground in a physical mode, the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic continue to persist. However, the success and smooth functioning of the 6th edition conducted online has led the Organizing Committee to take the initiative of organizing the 7th Edition of the academic event on an online platform as well. Like each year, we promise to leave no stone unturned in ensuring a fun and fruitful competition while maintaining the spirit of Lex Infinitum.
