The UPES ADR's (2022-2023) fascinating voyage has begun!

We daydream about a great future while remembering the good old days. After

successfully completing 6 editions, the Alternate Dispute Resolution Association (ADR)

of School of Law, UPES, Dehradun is pleased to announce the 7th edition of the UPES

Internal Mediation Competition 2022. This competition is not only an examination of

several talents but also gives you the chance to showcase your potential for problem-

solving, decision-making, and mediation skills.

The Criteria for the same is listed below-:


1. Eligibility Criteria:

• The competition is open to all the Law students from second year onwards.


2. Team Composition:

• Each Team shall Comprise of 3 students- one mediator, one client, and one counsel. The

roles of the students shall remain the same throughout the rounds.


3. Format:

• The Teams will consist of 3 students as Client-Counsel Pair known as Negotiating Pair

and a Mediator.

• A total of 72 teams can participate on a 'first-come-first-serve' basis.

• The Competition will be conducted in an offline mode.


4. Registration Procedure:

• Register through the form below. Specify the role of the members of the team which

will be carried forward throughout the competition. Change of the roles after

registration will not be permitted.

5. Deadline/Dates:

• Last Date for Registration- The registration window will close as soon as 72 teams will

be registered.

• Competition Dates – 16th - 18th September 2022

• Release of Problem: 9th September 2022

•Last date for Clarifications: 13th September 2022
