LEGAL LOCK NATIONAL MEDIATION COMPETITION- 16-17 SEPTEMBER, 2023

We are pleased to announce that Legal Lock is conducting its 1st National Mediation Competition, 2023 from 16 to 17th September 2023 in Virtual Mode.

The Legal Lock stands as a specialized platform aiming to transform into a comprehensive hub that offers diverse legal support to both students and professionals. Its primary goal is to enhance legal knowledge among the general population through the organization of different activities such as events, webinars, and seminars. Presently, the platform offers a reliable blog section, a well-categorized Journal, legal study materials, updates on upcoming events, and genuine promotional content.

 

Teams

 

●       Each team must comprise three members – One Mediator, One Client, and One Counsel.

●       The roles of the participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the Competition.

●       Each Round shall comprise a Client-Counsel pair from each Side and 2 Mediators.

 

Eligibility

●      The competition is open to all law students registered in any university in India.

●      Only students studying Law may participate in the competition.

Important Dates:

●       Last Date of registration: 8th September

●       Last Date for seeking clarification: 17th August

●       Date of competition: 16-17 September

Registration

●       Submit one NMCRF per team.

●       A student may register for NMC within the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the schedule announced.

●       Regular Fee: Rs 1200/- (per team)

●      Best Mediator: Rs 3500/-

●      Runners Up Mediating Pair: Rs 2500/-

Publications

All the Titleholders will be given a free publication in Hein Online, DRJI-indexed Legal Lock Journal [ISSN. 2583-0384]

Application Procedure:

Interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to  anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac. and hartejs.kochher@ddn.upes.ac.in in with all necessary details (including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year and Internal Ranks of TEAM MEMBERS, and Contact number) latest by 13th August 2023 before 11:59 PM.

 In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; for the application shall be rejected outright if any discrepancy is found.
