EVENT NAME: Pactum Concorde: Inter-Collegiate Mediation Competition, 2025 📍 Organised by the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society, Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, Mumbai FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition will consist of four rounds — Preliminary, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals . All rounds will be conducted virtually. The Preliminary Round will last 40 minutes , followed by feedback. The Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals will last 50, 60, and 90 minutes respectively, each followed by a feedback session. Teams will receive Confidential Information before each round and will be assessed on negotiation, mediation, and caucus strategy. Each round will focus on testing participants’ ability to build rapport, identify legal issues, and provide practical solutions using effective communication and counselling techniques. The event will include Preliminary, Semi-Final, and Final Rounds , conducted virtually. EVENT NAME: Presidency University National Mediation Competition 2025 FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition will take place on 15th and 16th November 2025 in offline mode at Presidency University, Bengaluru. It consists of five progressive rounds — two Preliminary Rounds, Octa-Finals, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals . Each team will act as both Requesting and Responding Party during the prelims. Mediators will facilitate between negotiating pairs from different institutions. EVENT NAME: 1st National Corporate Due Diligence Competition, 2025 FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition will consist of two rounds: Round 1 – Identification & Redrafting , where teams will be provided with a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) containing erroneous clauses that they must identify, color-code based on risk severity (red for high, yellow for moderate, green for low), and redraft to safeguard their client’s interests; and Round 2 – Negotiation , where teams will engage directly with counterparts to negotiate the retention, amendment, or removal of clauses, with matchups determined by Round 1 rankings. The winners will be declared on the basis of their cumulative performance, with equal weightage given to both the drafting and negotiation rounds (50% each).
