Pactum Concorde: Inter-Collegiate Mediation Competition, 2025

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will consist of four roundsPreliminary, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals. All rounds will be conducted virtually. The Preliminary Round will last 40 minutes, followed by feedback. The Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals will last 50, 60, and 90 minutes respectively, each followed by a feedback session. Teams will receive Confidential Information before each round and will be assessed on negotiation, mediation, and caucus strategy. The top 8 teams in both mediation and negotiation categories from the preliminaries will qualify for the knockout rounds.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The competition is open to law students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes from any recognized institution. Each participating team must belong to the same university or college. Once registered, teams cannot change members or roles.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team will consist of three members — one Client, one Counsel, and one Mediator. The Client-Counsel pair will form the Negotiating Team, while the Mediator will act as the neutral facilitator. Roles are fixed throughout the competition, and any change is prohibited after registration.

  • Competition Dates: 22nd–23rd November 2025

  • Normal Registration: ₹3,000 per team

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  30th October 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
