Legal Aid Cell 2020-2021: Inviting Applications for Student Committee.

 Greetings!!

 The Legal Aid Cell, School of Law, UPES is pleased to inform that it is now inviting applications for the Student Committee 2020-2021.

 

Interested applicants are requested to go through the information below and apply for various portfolios.

i.    Advisor/Joint Advisors

ii.    Convener

iii.   Secretary

iv.   Treasurer

v.    Co-Convener

vi.   Joint Secretary

vii. Joint Treasurer

viii. Para Legal Volunteers

:

The eligibility criteria for the same are as follows:

1.     Student Advisor / Joint Advisors:

i.       Shall be from 5th year.

ii.     Shall have been actively involved in any significant activity in LAC in their 3rd and 4th year.

iii.   Must have a good academic record having maintained a CGPA of not less than 7.0.

iv.   Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

 

2.     Student Convener / Student Secretary / Student Treasurer

i.       Shall be from 4th year.

ii.     Shall have been actively involved in any significant activity in LAC in the last one year or must have been a member of any committee for at least 2 years.

iii.   Must have a good academic record having maintained a CGPA of not less than 7.0.

iv.   Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

 

3.     Student Co-Convener / Joint Secretary/ Joint Treasurer

i.       Shall be from 3rd year.

ii.     Shall have been actively involved in any significant activity in LAC in the last one year or must have been a member of any committee for at least 1 year.

iii.   Must have a good academic record having maintained a CGPA of not less than 7.0.

iv.   Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

 

                  4. Student Member (Para Legal Volunteers)

i.       Shall be from 2nd/3rd year.

ii.     Must have a good academic record having maintained a CGPA of not less than 7.0.

iii.   Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding

 

Interested students are requested to fill the below mentioned form by August 20th 5:00 pm.


* Deadline has been extended to August 27th 2020 5:00 pm (Thursday) for Btech Llb and Bsc Llb students only. Applications from any other programme shall not be entertained.
