2nd edition of ILNU, International Mediation Competition (IMC), 2022- NIRMA UNIVERSITY
We take immense pleasure and pride in announcing the 2nd edition of ILNU, International Mediation Competition (IMC), 2022. The competition is being conducted by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Institute of Law, Nirma University. The essence of hosting such a Competition is to enable participants to gain exposure in the field of ADR and understand how the ADR mechanisms are holistic.
Through IMC we aim at promoting and encouraging the culture of ADR, in India as well as globally. The widespread use of ADR can only be accomplished by enhancing the popularity of ADR techniques among the up-and-coming aspirants of the legal fraternity.
The Competition will be judged by Accredited Mediators and trained ADR experts which provide the students with one of the finest platforms to showcase their ADR skills as they compete with the cream of the crop of the student-legal fraternity, along with an opportunity to network with some of the world's most renowned professionals in the field of consensual dispute resolution and benefit from their experience and expertise.
Despite the widespread vaccinations and the ADR Committee at ILNU's wish to conduct the Competition on the ground in a physical model, dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic continue to persist. However, the success and smooth functioning of the Initial edition, conducted online has led our zealous Committee to take the initiative of organizing the 2nd Edition of our flagship event on an Online platform as well. Like last year, we promise to leave no stone unturned in ensuring a fun and fruitful competition while maintaining the spirit of the International Mediation Competition.
We extend a warm invitation to your Institution to participate in the competition scheduled to be held from the 11th March, 2022 to 13th March, 2022. This competition aims to help budding law students to get accustomed to the ADR mechanisms in the legal arena and promote ADR Mechanisms in the future.
