2nd Vidhi Manthan Corporate Law Fest, by School of Law MIT WPU (Feb 25th-26th)

School of Law, MIT WPU is conducting their 2nd edition of the most anticipated event - Vidhi Manthan A Corporate Law Fest - a two-day online event, 25th-26th February, 2022. 

About MIT WPU 

School of Law was established in the year 2018 and with the launch of this School, a new chapter began at MIT WPU. Within a short span of three years, MIT WPU has become the preferred destination for pursuing higher education in Law. The School of Law provides value based learning in Law programmes through interactive sessions, hands-on practical sessions, moots, classroom presentations, industry driven assignments. Furthermore, field trips, rural immersion programmes, internship, national and international study tours as well as projects give an in-depth insight about society in general and the role of legal fraternity in particular. 

About VIDHI MANTHAN 

Vidhi Manthan is a key opportunity for interacting. This conference shall be a platform for bringing together people from all different geographical areas which will enhance the professional and personal development of all the attendees and shall provide those tools and skills which cannot be taught in-house or online. The focused nature of learning at a conference allows not only students but also others to dig deeper with the understanding of their topic of interest. It will provide an inspiration to educators, service leaders, or other mentors. It aims to have a strategic focus on higher level analysis and synthesis in the application, and dissemination of skills. This critical thinking skill can help and prepare the students to be ready for the legal field.
In this fest, we will be conducting a range of activities like:
1) Trivia - a fun quiz based on topics like basics of corporate law, logos, tagline, etc. ; 
2) Debate - the preliminary round topic is "Whether the new era of digital currencies will end the dominance of US dollar in international market?", the final round topic is "Whether the new era of digital currencies will end the dominance of US dollar in international market?" ; 
3) Client Counseling Competition - After the prelims, the top 4 contestants shall compete in the final round ; 
4) Negotiation Challenge: This competition will have two rounds whereby the participants will be able to showcase their negotiation skills in the light of Alternate Dispute Resolution. ;
5) Contract Drafting Competition: The State of Problem will be given in advance and the participants are required to draft the contract in the light contract legislation and submit it to the organizers before the deadline.

Kindly Note that-:  There is no registration fee for participation in the Event. 
• The Prizes will be given in the competitions to first three winners. 
• All Participants will be issued Participation Certificates 
• Participation is by Registration only.

Application Procedure- The interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to  spathak@ddn.upes.ac.in  latest by 16th February 2022 before 11:59 PM. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; for the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
