"We are pleased to announce that Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee is presenting its 3rd edition of Novice Mediation Competition’2024 which will be held from 3rd to 5th October’ 2024”

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee will be conducting the 3rd Edition of Novice Mediation Competition’2024 to enable first year law students of School of Law, UPES to participate and showcase their skills in resolving disputes through Mediation. The objective of organizing a Novice Mediation Competition is to instil a zest for out-of-court settlement mechanisms, such as Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques, among first-year law students at UPES. 

This competition offers students a chance to simulate the roles of Mediator, Client, and Counsel, providing them with practical experience of ADR in the real world. It serves as the best platform to introduce freshers to the world of ADR. The Novice Competition is conducted exclusively for first-year students to ensure fair competition and equal opportunities for all participants to gain experience alongside their peers.

IMPORTANT DATES:

·         Preliminary Rounds - 3rd October' 2024

·         Quarter and Semi-final Rounds – 4th October' 2024

·         Final Rounds – 5th October’ 2024


ELIGIBILITY:

Students in their first year pursuing their full time 3 year-LLB or 5 year-LLB programs from School of Law, UPES are eligible to apply.

                                                      Bucerius Law School  is pleased to announce the  10th Bucerius Mediation Competition by BODENHEIMER w ill take place in a hybrid format between the 29th of November and the 1st of December.
