 'Kerala Law Academy is pleased to announce its 23rd National Client Consulting Competition, 2023 scheduled from 9th-11th November, 2023 in Virtual Mode.'


The Kerala Law Academy Law College (KLA), established in 1966 is a centre for legal studies, legal research and law reforms. The prestigious 23rd National Client Consulting Competition for Justice P. Govinda Menon Memorial Ever Rolling Trophy, hosted by the Kerala Law Academy. The Client Consulting Competition is intended to explore the client-lawyer interaction skills and to improve the problem analysing techniques of the students and giving such information which, a client would like to know regarding his legal problem/case.


ELIGIBILITY:

Students pursuing 3 years/5-year LLB Course, in Law Colleges/Law Schools/Law Universities/Departments of  Law in India recognised by the Bar Council of India.


IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Last Date of Registration: 29th October,2023
  • Release of Subject Memoranda: 1st November, 2023
  • Reporting, Inauguration, breifing & Picking of lots: 9th November 2023
  • Competiton Rounds: 9th & 11th November 2023

Interested Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at aoladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (Including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year and Contact Number) latest by 15th October 2023 by 11:59 PM. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the applications shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

We are pleased to announce that the 4th NALSAR National Mediation Competition 2025  will be held in person from   24 January – 26 January 2025 EVENT NAME: 4th NALSAR National Mediation Tournament 2025 FORMAT: The Competition comprises of three Preliminary Rounds, Semi-finals and  the Final Round.  Each team must comprise of 3 members - one Mediator,  one Client and one Counsel. The roles of the participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the Competition. Each Round shall comprise of a Client-Counsel pair from each Side and 2 Mediators. What makes the NMT unique is that there will only be one single Problem  with evolving and increasingly complex Confidential Information (CI') given as the Rounds advance. The allotment of Sides may change after each Round.
