EVENT NAME:

2TG-RMLNLU International Mediation Competition, 2025

FORMAT:

The competition will feature multiple rounds, testing participants on their legal knowledge, mediation skills, and ability to negotiate effectively:

  • Preliminary Rounds
  • Quarter-Finals
  • Semi-Finals
  • Final Round

Each round will present a unique dispute scenario, allowing teams to demonstrate their understanding of mediation techniques and legal principles.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Open to all law schools, colleges, and universities globally.
  • Participants must be full-time or part-time law students (undergraduate or postgraduate).
  • Cross-institutional teams are permitted.
  • Each institution may register up to three teams.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

  • Each team must consist of two members:

    • Mediator: One team member will assume the role of the mediator.
    • Negotiator: Another member will assume the role of negotiator

    The roles of participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the competition.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Registration Closes – 10th February 2025
Competition Dates – 7th - 9th March 2025

2TG Best Team – ₹30,000.00 / $355
2TG Best Mediator – ₹32,500 / $385
2TG Best Negotiator – ₹32,500 / $385
Best International Team – ₹30,000 / $355
Runner-Up Mediator – ₹20,000 / $235
Runner-Up Negotiator – ₹20,000 / $235

Total Prize Pool: ₹1,65,000 / $1950

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 10 Feb 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
