International Mediation Championship 3 (IMC 3.0)

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will be conducted online through platforms like Webex/Zoom and will consist of Preliminary Rounds followed by Advanced Rounds. Each participating team will take part in the preliminaries, and based on their performance, the top teams and mediators will qualify for the advanced knockout rounds. The knockout stages will include Octa-Finals, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final Round. Session durations will gradually increase from 50 minutes in preliminaries, 60 minutes in Octa-Finals, 80 minutes in Quarter-Finals, 100 minutes in Semi-Finals, and 120 minutes in the Final Round, with caucus provisions and confidential information released prior to each session.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The competition is open to all students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate LL.B. degree course or its equivalent at a recognised institute. Additionally, BBA and MBA students are also eligible to participate. Each institution may send up to ten teams for the competition.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team shall consist of three members: one Mediator and a Client–Counsel pair. While the Mediator’s role will remain fixed throughout the competition, the Client and Counsel may alternate roles in different sessions. Team members once registered cannot be changed unless approved by the organisers in exceptional circumstances.

    REGISTRATION FEES:

  • ₹4,500 for national teams
  • USD 70 for international teams

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  27th September 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
