3rd VGU R.K. Rastogi Memorial Negotiation Competition 2025

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will consist of two preliminary rounds, each lasting 60 minutes. The top 4 qualifying teams will advance to the semi-final knock-out rounds, followed by the final round between the winners of the semi-finals. The semi-final and final rounds will each last 90 minutes, designed to mirror real-life negotiation experiences.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The competition is open to bona fide students pursuing either a 3-year or a 5-year law programme recognized and affiliated by the Bar Council of India

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team must comprise two members only, acting as Counsel and Client. Both members are required to switch roles between the two preliminary rounds, ensuring equal participation.

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Last Date for Clarifications: 03rd October 2025

  • Arrival & Registration of Teams: 10th October 2025 (3:00 PM)

  • Preliminary Rounds & Gala Night: 11th October 2025

  • Semi-Finals & Finals: 12th October 2025

Registration Fees:

  • ₹6,000 per team (with accommodation for 3 nights)

  • ₹4,000 per team (without accommodation

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  25th September 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

EVENT NAME: Mediation Bombay 6.0 – International Dispute Resolution Competition (2025-26) FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition will be held in a hybrid format , with Preliminary Rounds online from 9th–12th October 2025 and advanced rounds offline at MNLU Mumbai on 7th–8th March 2026 . We are pleased to announce that the 4th NALSAR National Mediation Competition 2025  will be held in person from   24 January – 26 January 2025 EVENT NAME: 4th NALSAR National Mediation Tournament 2025 FORMAT: The Competition comprises of three Preliminary Rounds, Semi-finals and  the Final Round.  Each team must comprise of 3 members - one Mediator,  one Client and one Counsel. The roles of the participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the Competition. Each Round shall comprise of a Client-Counsel pair from each Side and 2 Mediators. What makes the NMT unique is that there will only be one single Problem  with evolving and increasingly complex Confidential Information (CI') given as the Rounds advance.
