5th RGNUL National Negotiation Competition, 2025

FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The competition will be held online and will consist of two preliminary rounds, followed by Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and the Final Round. Each two-member Negotiating Team (Client and Counsel) will have to play both roles at least once during the preliminary rounds. The advanced knockout rounds will test participants’ problem-solving, strategy, and collaborative negotiation skills under time-bound scenario

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Any student enrolled in an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Law degree programme in a university recognised by the Bar Council of India as of 1st September 2025 is eligible to participate

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each university must be represented by two students only—one acting as the Client and the other as the Counsel. The team composition, once submitted to the Organising Committee, cannot be changed

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Provisional Registration Opens: 18th September 2025

  • Last Date for Provisional Registration: 5th October 2025

  • Last Date for Final Registration: 12th October 2025

  • Release of General Information (GI): 12th October 2025

  • Last Date to Submit Clarifications: 20th October 2025

  • Release of Clarifications: 23rd October 2025

  • Last Date to Submit Negotiation Plan: 28th October 2025

  • Competition Dates: 7th–9th November 2025

  • ₹6,500 per team (exclusive of GST; non-refundable)

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  30th September 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
