APIIT LAW SCHOOL NEGOTIATION COMPETITION 2021

APIIT Law School, in collaboration with Staffordshire University UK, is the only law school in Sri Lanka which currently offers an internal UK LLB (Hons) Law Degree. The APIIT Law School provides a high legal education of high standard, in an encouraging and interactive learning environment, which is geared to produce graduates who can contribute constructively to the development of the legal profession.

Moot, Debate and Mock Mediation Society (Moot Society) specialises in Debating, Mooting, Mediation, Negotiation, and Arbitration. The Moot Society was formed in 2019, and within a year, it has made a considerable progression, as the University and the Patron intends to train the students to become professional arbitrators, mediators, and negotiators one day.

APIIT Law School Negotiation Competition (ALSINC) is an opportunity for university students to build their knowledge and skills in different forms of negotiation. Negotiation is an area of alternative dispute resolution that needs more emphases as it is not limited to resolving disputes but also extends to other formats, i.e. business contracts. ALSINC 2021 will take place from 16-19 September.

Registration fees:
International Teams - $40
Sri Lankan Teams - LKR 3,000

Applications for the negotiating teams are open till 8th August 2021 midnight.

Application Procedure- The interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to  aprajita.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in latest by 8th  August 2021 before 12:00 PM. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; for the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
