1st RGNUL-SAM National Negotiation Competition | October 8 – 10, 2021

With Negotiation as the preferred means of dispute resolution, in both personal and professional lives, the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab,  is pleased to announce it's 1st edition of RGNUL National Negotiation Competition to be held virtually from October 8-10, 2021. 


We are glad to organize the Competition in association with India's most prominent law firm, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. as our Chief Knowledge Partner, with CAMP Arbitration and Mediation Practice Pvt. Ltd (CAMP) as our Supporting Partner and with SCC Online as our Media Partner. Along with them, many other influential names in the industry will be associated with the Competition. 


For the First Edition, our objective is not only to provide the students an opportunity to indulge themselves into a niche area of dispute resolution, but to provide the participants and other institutions an opportunity to network with prominent individuals in the field – nationally and internationally. The competition will witness some exciting awards being given out to meritorious participants.

Participation Details:

  • Each participating team shall consist of a Client-Counsel pair (i.e. the Negotiation Team)
  • Cap on the number of teams per University - Each University may send only 1 team to participate in the competition.
Registration Process and Fees:
  • Upon selection by the organising committee, teams must complete the payment of the registration fee within a period of 48 hours. 
  • Details for payment of the registration fee will be notified to the teams upon selection.
  • The Registration Fee is INR 2,000/- per team, which is inclusive of all costs.
  • Final registration of the teams is subject to the successful payment of the registration fee within the stipulated time.


Application Procedure- The interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to  aprajita.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in latest by 17th  August 2021 before 11:59 PM. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; for the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
