ALSA International Mediation Competition (AIMC) 2026
The competition will be structured as:
The competition will be conducted through two Preliminary Rounds followed by the Semi-Final and Final Rounds. Teams will participate in mediation sessions where they role-play as counsel and client to resolve disputes through negotiation and collaborative problem-solving. The preliminary rounds determine the highest-scoring teams, after which the semi-final and final rounds follow a knockout format. Each mediation session is time-bound and includes feedback from judges to enhance participants’ mediation skills.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The competition is open to university students from ALSA National Chapters worldwide. Teams are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, and participants are encouraged to register through their respective ALSA National Chapters. Non-ALSA members may also participate through the open registration process.
TEAM COMPOSITION:
Each team must consist of 2 to 4 university students who will role-play as representative counsel and client during mediation sessions. The competition is team-based and does not allow solo participation.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The competition is open to university students from ALSA National Chapters worldwide. Teams are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, and participants are encouraged to register through their respective ALSA National Chapters. Non-ALSA members may also participate through the open registration process.

Registration Fees
- USD 85 per team (approximately ₹7,000 – ₹7,200 depending on exchange rate).
Awards- Winners: ₹20,000 + Certificate of Merit
Runners-Up: ₹15,000 + Certificate of Merit
Best Counsel: ₹10,000 + Certificate of Merit
Runners-Up Counsel: ₹5,000 + Certificate of Merit

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 25 March 2026. In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
