We are pleased to announce the release of the Problem Statement for the 1st IALR Arbitral Award Drafting and Presentation Competition. After much anticipation, we present this dynamic problem that challenges participants to assume the role of an arbitrator and navigate complex legal issues with precision and expertise. 

EVENT NAME:

1st IALR Arbitral Award Drafting and Presentation Competition

FORMAT:

  • The competition will be conducted in two phases:
  • Award Submission, and Award Presentation.
  • The award submission phase will be conducted online.
  • Participants are expected to submit their drafts of the award by 04th January, 2024. Upon evaluating all the submissions received, IALR shall shortlist about 15-20 teams, depending on the quality of the submissions, who shall advance to the award presentation phase of the Competition.

 ELIGIBILTY:

  1. The Competition shall be open to students of all years pursuing an Integrated 5-year LL.B. program, 3-year LL.B. program or LL.M. Post Graduate program from recognised law schools, colleges, universities, and institutions in India or abroad.
  2. The participants may either register individually or in a pair of two students. The students of the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal are also eligible to participate in the Competition.
