EVENT NAME:

VITSOL Mediation Competition 2025

FORMAT:

The competition will feature a hybrid mode:

  • Preliminary Rounds (Online)
  • Quarter-Finals (Online)
  • Semi-Finals (Offline)
  • Final Round (Offline)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • The competition is open to all law students who are currently enrolled in undergraduate LL.B courses (5-year or 3-year LL. B) in colleges/universities affiliated with the Bar Council of India. 

TEAM COMPOSITION:

  • Each team must consist of two members:

    • Mediator: One team member will assume the role of the mediator.
    • Negotiating team: Two team members will consist of client and counsel

    The roles of participants must remain consistent throughout all rounds of the competition.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Provisional Registration Deadline – 15th March 2025
  • Confirmation of Participation – 17th March 2025
  • Last Date for Payment of Registration Fees – 20th March 2025
  • Qualifier & Quarter-Final Rounds (Online) – 26th March 2025
  • Semi-Finals & Finals (Offline at VIT School of Law, Chennai) – 18th April 2025

    • REGISTRATION FEES:

    Negotiating Team: ₹3000 per team

    Mediator: ₹1500 per participant

    APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

    Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 15th March 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
