NMIMS is pleased to announce that 2nd Edition of the International Negotiation and Mediation Competition hosted by SVKM’s NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai will be held from 7th-8th September 2024 in Online mode and 5th-6th October 2024 in offline mode.


The SVKM NMIMS School of Law is hosting the 2nd edition of their International Negotiation and Mediation Competition (INMC) this year, giving law students the chance to hone their negotiation and mediation skills in a competitive setting. Universities can send two separate teams, one specializing in negotiation and another in mediation, for this hybrid competition. The preliminary rounds will be conducted online in September, while the quarter/semi-final rounds will be held offline at the Mumbai campus in October.

ELIGIBILITY:

The competition is open to every student pursuing a five-year or three-year course in law from any recognized Schools/Colleges/Universities.


IMPORTANT DATES:

  •  11th August: Commencement of Final Registration
  •  18th August: Conclusion of Final Registration
  •  20th August: Release of general information for preliminary rounds
  •  6th September: Orientation and mediation training by knowledge partner
  •  7th - 8th September 2024: Preliminary Rounds (Online)
  •  15th September: Release of general information for advanced rounds
  •  5th - 6th October 2024:   Quarters-Semis-Final Rounds (Offline) 


TEAM COMPOSITION:

  • Each team participating team shall comprise 3 members:

    • One Mediator.
    • One Client.
    • One Counsel.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 25th July 2024.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.

                                                      Bucerius Law School  is pleased to announce the  10th Bucerius Mediation Competition by BODENHEIMER w ill take place in a hybrid format between the 29th of November and the 1st of December.
