  Event Name Senior Advocate Late Shri P.M. Shah National Client Counselling Competition, 2026 📍 Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar 📅 14th–15th March, 2026 FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition simulates a real law-office client consultation where a team of two counsels interacts with a dummy client. Participants receive a brief written memorandum identifying the client’s problem prior to the interview. The counselling topic is released 24 hours before the round, while the client is provided on the spot . Teams must elicit facts, understand client goals, analyze legal issues, and suggest solutions. Each round includes a consultation period followed by a post-consultation period , during which judges may question the teams. The competition has four rounds : Preliminary, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, and Final, with increasing time limits at each stage.   Event Name 2nd National Corporate Client Counselling Competition 2026 (NCCCC 2026) Organised by Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) through The Centre for Training & Research in Commercial Regulations (CTRCR) . FORMAT: The competition will be structured as : The competition has two stages   Preliminary Rounds (Online) and Advanced Rounds (On-Campus) . In the Preliminary Rounds (27–28 February 2026, online) , up to 40 teams (institutional and open teams) will compete. Each team will argue two different propositions across two days, covering varied areas of corporate law. Each session includes 20 minutes of client counselling followed by a 10-minute post-consultation discussion , then feedback and scoring. Scores from both prelims are added, and the Top 4 teams advance.
