The competition will be structured as:

The competition is a national-level mediation competition designed to assess participants’ skills in mediation, negotiation, and consensual dispute resolution. It will comprise multiple rounds, each structured to simulate realistic mediation proceedings. Participants will be evaluated on communication, problem-solving, ethical conduct, and settlement-building abilities. Each round will be followed by constructive feedback from experienced mediators and legal professionals, ensuring a strong learning component alongside competitive assessment. (Detailed round structure will be shared in the official brochure.)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The competition is open to law students from recognised law institutions across India. Participation is institution-based, and teams must be nominated by their respective universities. The total number of teams participating in the competition is capped at 24 teams.


TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each participating team shall consist of three members.
Each institution may nominate one or two teams for the competition.
(Individual roles such as Client, Counsel, and Mediator will be specified in the detailed rules to be released.)

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Provisional Registration: Open (via Google Form)

  • Competition Dates: 27th–29th March, 2026

  • Venue: DSNLU Campus, Visakhapatnam

  • Release of Detailed Brochure & Rules: To be announced


APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 31st January2026.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
