Faculty of Law Manipal University, Jaipur in collaboration with MediateGuru is organising International Seminar on Commercial Arbitration on 16th September in Hybrid mode.

About the International Seminar

Commercial Arbitration and Mediation are alternative methods of resolving disputes without going to court. They offer parties a private, efficient, and cost-effective way to settle their differences. The governing law determines the parties' substantive rights and obligations, while the seat of the arbitration determines the jurisdiction that will oversee the dispute resolution process. Thoughtful drafting of an arbitration clause can save time, money, and resources, providing a more effective means of resolving disputes.

  1. Execution of the Arbitration clause and its acceptance against the International arbitration framework
  2. Cross-border commercial arbitration and its execution
  3. International Commercial Disputes-Importance of Expediency & Issues of Jurisdiction

  5. International Commercial Arbitration – Prospects in India

The sub-themes mentioned herein are not exhaustive. The organizing Panel shall duly consider manuscripts submitted beyond such periphery.

Selected manuscripts shall be published in an edited book bearing ISBN number.

ELIGIBILITY:

This Seminar aims to bring together law students including law PhD scholars to exchange and share their experiences on the nuances of International Commercial Arbitration and present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of International Commercial Arbitration from all over India.

  2. Registration fees for academicians and professionals: Rs. 1000/-
  3. Registration fees for International participants: $10 USD
