'Himachal Pradesh National Law University(HPNLU), Shimla is thrilled to announce, The Samanvay International Mediation Competition, 2023 which is scheduled to  take place in both Hybrid and Offline Mode.'


HPNLU has consistently carved its name as a paragon of legal education. In the realm of dispute resolution, Mediation has been emerging as a powerful force, both in personal and professionalspheres. For this edition, The vision extends beyond providing students with a platform to delve into the intricacies of dispute resolution. We aim to create an environment where participants and institutions can connect with leading figures in the field, nationally and internationally. The competition promises to recognize and reward exceptional talent with exciting awards.


ELIGIBILITY:

  • The Competition is open to every student pursuing a five- year or three- year course in law from any recognized Schools/Colleges/Universities.
  • All the participants in one team shall belong to one institution only.
  • Team Selection will be based on a screening process for each team individually based on the written submission made by them.

TEAM COMPOSITION:
  • Each Team shall comprise 3 participants- One Mediator, One Client, and one counsel.
  • The roles of the participants must remain the same throughout the rounds.

IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Last Date For Provisional Registration: 5th October 2023
  • Release of Clarifications: 6th October 2023
  • Final Teams Announcement : 8th October 2023
  • Last Date For Final Registration: 13th October 2023
  • Preliminary Rounds 1(Virtual Mode): 21st October 2023
  • Preliminary Rounds 2 and Octa Final Rounds(Virtual Mode): 22nd October 2023
  • Quater Finals and Semi Finals Round (Offline Mode) : 4th November 2023
  • Final Rounds (Offline Mode): 5th November 2023

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year, and Contact Number) latest by 2nd October 2023 by 11:59 Pm. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
