Chanakya Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CCADR) in collaboration with CNLU Legal Aid Cell is delighted to announce Vidhikta 2.0 - CNLU's Legal Aid Fest which includes the 2nd edition of the CNLU National Client Counseling Competition, 2023. 

 

Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) was established in the year 2006 with an altruistic aspiration of serving society by disseminating high-quality legal education and legal awareness. CNLU has garnered a Pan-India reputation as a stellar institution for legal research and education. The Client Counselling Competition is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to showcase their professional skills with propositions covering various disputes. The competition will offer participants a unique opportunity to delve into the complex world of practical legal professionals, where counsels not only have to deal with the client professionally and create a fiduciary relationship but must also be well-versed with laws in order to provide correct legal assistance to the client. It provides a unique opportunity for networking and collaboration, facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences among participants, judges, and industry professionals. 

 

Important Dates:

  • Last Date for Payment and Final Registration: 22nd September 2023  (11:59 PM)
  • Release of Problems: 20th September 2023
  • Preliminary Rounds - 6th October 2023
  • Semi-Final and Final Rounds - 7th October 2023

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A maximum of two teams from each college are allowed to participate in the competition,
  • The participants shall be students from any year/semester of the three or five- year LLB course or LLM from any Law Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.

  • Registration on First Cum First Serve Basis,

Application Procedure:
Interested students before filling out the participation form MUST apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to  anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year and Internal Ranks of TEAM MEMBERS, and Contact number) latest by 15th September 2023 before 11:59 PM. In Case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
