3rd NYAYSHATRAM'S RATAN K. SINGH NATIONAL NEGOTIATION COMPETITION, 2024
"It is with great pleasure that we extend an invitation to your esteemed institution to participate in the 3rd Edition of Nyayshastram's Ratan K. Singh (Sr. Adv.) National Negotiation Competition, 2024, schedule to be held virtually from 26th to 28th January 2024."
Nyayshastram, started as a student - run body, is a visionary platform designed to nurture and elevate legal research, writing, and presentation under the Chairmanship of Mr Ratan K. Singh, Senior Advocate & Arbitrator, Supreme Court of India along with the aid and advice of eminent Lawyers and Academicians across the nation. The competition simulates strategic negotiations in which law students, acting as advocates/ counsels as well as clients shall negotiate a series of legal problems. The simulation shall consist of a common set of facts known by all the participants and confidential information known only to the participants representing a particular side. All of the simulations deal wih the same general topic, but the negotiation situation varies with each round and level of the Competition.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Law Students currenlty attending 3 years/5 years of law courses from a BCI- recognised law college/ institution can participate.
- Registration shall be provided on first- come basis.
- Students have to form a team of two, comprising- one Advocate and one Client.
- Last date of Registration: 19th January, 2024
- Release Of Problem: 20th to 28th December,2023
- Oral Rounds: 26th to 28th January 2024
- Result Declaration and Valedictory: 28th January 2024.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Interested Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (Including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year, and Contact Number) latest by 30th december 2023. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
