"Tamil Nadu National University is organizing it's VI TNNLU National Mediation and Arbitration Competition scheduled from 23rd - 25th Feb, 2024."


Tamil Nadu National University (TNNLU) stands at the forefront of legal education in India, hosting the unique National Med-Arb Competition, a pioneering initiative in the country's academic landscape. TNNLU has carved a distinctive niche by being the first law university to introduce and organize such an innovative event, exemplifying a commitment to progressive legal education. An exceptional feature of the competition is the evaluation of arbitral award writing, making TNNLU the first university in India to emphasize this critical skill. This innovative element aligns with TNNLU's broader mission of providing student with a well-rounded and practical legal education that extends beyond conventional boundaries.


ELIGIBILITY:

  • Students of three- year and five-year law degree courses in any year from any University/ Law/ School/ College/ Department are elegible to apply for registration of their team.

REGISTRATION:
  • The participating team will be composed of 2 members the client and the counsel.
  • Registration would br on first-come-first serve -basis.

IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Last Date of Final Registration: 15th January,2024
  • Prelimianry Rounds: 24th February 2024
  • Semi Final and Final Rounds: 25th February 2024

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested  Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (Including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year, and Conatct Number) latest by 15th December 2023. In case of any query, conatct team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong informaton; the application shall be rejected outright, if any dicrepancy is found.
