5th S.K. Misra Memorial International Mediation and Negotiation Competition

"Lloyd Law college is pleased to announce 5th S.K. Misra Memorial International Mediation and Negotiation Competition 2024 scheduled to be held from 15th - 17th March 2024, in virtual mode".


This Competition envisions to promote the use of Mediation among young generations of professionals with a mind-set equipped to effectively resolve the disputes. This Educational event will seek to encourage the effective use of Mediation and open exchange of ideas, experience and know-howa between students of different universities, cultures, generations and backgrounds. The Llyod Institute of Mediation & Arbitration seeks to create awarenessof ADR as part of the justice delivery system and equip the students and other professionals with the theory and practice of arbitration, mediation, and other ADR mechanisms to take up an independent career in this field.


TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each team partcipating team shall comprise 3 members:

  • One Neutral Mediator.
  • One Client.
  • One Counsel.


ELEGIBILITY:

  • Students must be registered as full-time or part-time law students.
  • Students who graduated before the Competition but no longer than three months before the start of the competition are still eligible to partcipate.

IMPORTANT DATES:
  • Last Date for Registration: 20th January 2024
  • Competition Dates: 15th - 17th March 2024

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out the Participation form Must apply at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in and cc to anwesha.pathak@ddn.upes.ac.in with all necessary details (Including Name, Sap Id, Course & Batch, Year, and Contact Number) latest by 30th december 2023. In case of any query, contact team ADR but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
