C NEG FORMAT_4th National ADR Fest,2024 (Concordat 4.0)
“We are pleased to announce that Centre for ADR, IFIM Law School is organizing its 4th National ADR Fest: Concordat 4.0 from 22nd – 24th November 2024”
The 4th edition of CONCORDAT, a national Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) festival organized by the Centre for ADR at IFIM Law School, is a competition designed to test and develop your skills in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.
In the C-Neg format, each team will consist of two members. In the Client Counselling Rounds, each member will take on the role of either Senior Counsel or Junior Counsel for a client during simulated client counselling sessions. In the Negotiation Rounds, teams can choose to switch roles. One member can act as the Counsel, while the other plays the role of the Client during negotiation simulations.

IMPORTANT DATES:
• Last date of registration: 15th October
• Release of problem: 15th October 2024
• Last day of Seeking Clarification: 19th October 2024
• Release of Clarification: 25th October 2024
• Submission of Strategy Papers (Soft Copy): 4th November 2024
• Dates of negotiation rounds: 22nd-24th November 2024
REGISTRATION FEE:
The registration fee for the Competition is ₹3,000 per person (₹6,000 per team), payable in full to complete the registration process.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students duly enrolled and representatives of any University, may that be State, Central or International or any other department recognized/authorized may apply to participate in the Concordat 4.0 C – Neg Competition. Cross-teaming between different institutions is strictly prohibited.
TEAM COMPOSITION:
A team shall consist of two members that must include two Speakers, i.e., Senior and Junior Counsel for the client counselling rounds and the same team shall adapt the role of one client and one counsel for the Negotiation rounds. (There shall not be more than two teams representing an Institution in the C-Neg Format).
Note: All participating teams must submit their strategy papers to the IFIM Organizing Committee before the deadline. The "Strategy Paper" refers to the strategy drafted by the participants for the Negotiation rounds. This paper will be marked and used only in case of tiebreakers to determine the winner. The Best Strategy Paper prize will be awarded based on the marks scored in this evaluation.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 5th October 2024. In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
