FORMAT:

The competition will be structured as:

The Fourth Edition of the CNLU National Mediation Competition will be conducted in a hybrid format, beginning with the Inaugural Ceremony on 10th January 2026, followed by the Preliminary and Quarter-Final Rounds online on 11th January 2026. The top-performing teams will then qualify for the Semi-Final and Final Rounds, which will take place offline at the CNLU campus in Patna on 25th January 2026. The competition aims to immerse students in practical mediation advocacy, replicating real-world dispute resolution scenarios evaluated by experts.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Open to bona fide law students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes at BCI-recognized universities/institutions within India.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

Each participating team shall consist of three members:

  • One Mediator

  • One Client–Counsel Negotiating Pair

Roles once submitted will remain unchanged throughout the competition, except in emergencies approved by CCADR.

IMPORTANT DATE:

  • Inaugural Ceremony: 10th January 2026

  • Preliminary & Quarter-Final Rounds (Online): 11th January 2026

  • Semi-Final & Final Rounds (Offline, Patna): 25th January 2026

Registration Fees:
  • For Online Rounds: ₹7,500 per team
    (Team includes 1 Client, 1 Counsel & 1 Mediator)

  • For Offline Rounds (payable only by teams that qualify):

    • ₹5,000 per Negotiating Pair

    • ₹2,500 per Mediator
      (Includes accommodation & meals for the offline rounds)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by  5th December 2025.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
