In order to create awareness and promote the very efficient mode of dispute resolution called Mediation, NLUO Centre for Mediation and Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Board of NLUO are together organizing a 5-day Mediation and Negotiation  Conclave, with the generous support of the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE), the competition will be held on February 1st 2025 

EVENT NAME:

2nd GAJE-NLUO Mediation and Negotiation Conclave 2025

FORMAT:

  • Preliminary Rounds: February 1, 2025
  • Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals: February 2, 2025.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

  • Teams of 2 members (1 Client, 1 Counsel) compete in rounds of 40-60 minutes.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Participation is open to students pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:

  • INR 11,000 per team for the negotiation competition.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Registrations Open: December 22, 2024
  • Last Date for Provisional Registration: December 30, 2024
  • Final Registration and Payment Deadline: January 5, 2025
  • Release of Preliminary Round Problem: January 6, 2025
  • Clarifications Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025
  • Release of Clarifications: January 18, 2025
  • Negotiation Competition: February 1–2, 2025

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 6th January 2025 by 11:59 pm.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
