Lloyd Law College is highly overwhelmed to announce the Sixth Edition of S.K. MISRA MEMORIAL  INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION AND NEGOTIATION COMPETITION 2025

EVENT NAME:

S.K. MISRA MEMORIAL  INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION AND NEGOTIATION COMPETITION 2025

FORMAT:

  • During the Preliminary Rounds, each team shall compete in both the preliminary rounds.
  • Top 8 teams shall qualify for the Quarter Final Rounds.
  • For the Semi-Finals as well as for Finals, the teams need to knock-out the other team in Quarter-Final Round and Semi-Final Round respectively.
    •  

TEAM COMPOSITION:

  • Each Participating team shall comprise 3 members :
  • a) One Neutral Mediator
  • b) One Client
  • c) One Counsel
  • A maximum of Four Teams per University are allowed to participate. There will be Separate Problems for different rounds.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Students must be registered as full-time or part-time law students. Students who graduated before the Competition but no longer than three months before the start of the Competition are still eligible to participate.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:

  • Registration Fees for an Indian Team is Rs. 5000/- and for any International Team is USD 70.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Registration - Opening: 24 December 2024
  • Provisional Registration - Closing: 31 January 2025
  • Final Registration - Closing: 05 February 2025
  • Mediation Problem - Release: 16 February 2025
  • Questions for Clarification - Closing: 20 February 2025
  • Submission of the Mediation Plan - Closing: 01 March 2025
  • SKMMIMNC 6.0 - Workshop: 12 March 2025
  • Preliminary Rounds: 21 March 2025
  • Octa Final & Quarter Final Rounds: 22 March 2025
  • Semi Final & Final Rounds / Valedictory Ceremony: 23 March 2025

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 18th January 2025 by 11:59 pm.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
