We are pleased to announce the Arbitration Competition as part of the 5th Justice J.S. Verma Memorial ADR & Client Counselling Competition and Navitas-Law Fest, 2025!


EVENT NAME:
Arbitration Competition – 5th Justice J.S. Verma Memorial ADR & Client Counselling Competition and Navitas-Law Fest, 2025

FORMAT:
The competition is designed to provide a platform for aspiring law professionals to demonstrate their arbitration and alternative dispute resolution skills. The event will span from 8th March to 23rd March 2025 and will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The Preliminary Rounds (Rounds 1 & 2), Quarterfinals, and Semifinals will be held online, while the Finals will take place on 22nd March 2025 at the MAIMS campus.

TEAM COMPOSITION AND ELIGIBILITY:
Each university or college can register up to two teams. Every participant must be a law student currently enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year program.

AWARDS:
The competition offers a total prize pool of ₹24,000. The Best Team will receive ₹10,000, while the Runner-Up Team will be awarded ₹8,000. The Best Memorial will win ₹6,000. Trophies and certificates of merit will be presented to rank holders, and e-certificates of participation will be issued to all participants.

REGISTRATION AND FEE:
The registration fee for each team is ₹3,150.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Last Date for Registration: 4th March 2025
  • Last Date for Written Submission: 5th March 2025
  • Preliminary Rounds 1 & 2: 9th March 2025 (Online)
  • Quarterfinals and Semifinals: 10th March 2025 (Online)
  • Finals: 22nd March 2025 (Offline at the MAIMS Campus)

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 15th February 2025 by 11:59 pm.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
