Vidyavarta – 2nd Edition of the International Mediation Championship, 2025

ABOUT:
Infinity Lexathon Society is excited to announce the 2nd edition of Vidyavarta, the International Mediation Championship, which will be held virtually on the 8th and 9th of March 2025. This prestigious competition is hosted by Infinity Lexathon Society in collaboration with J.Sagar Associates (JSA), International Arbitration and Mediation Centre, Hyderabad (IAMC Hyderabad), and LawNK as our Legal and Mediation Partners. Additionally, Manupatra is our Official Knowledge Partner, and Mediate Guru is our Media Partner.

As a participant in this competition, you will have the chance to stand out in the mediation field and earn incentives from our esteemed collaborators. Furthermore, the award winners will be given the opportunity to intern with our Legal and Mediation Partners.

TEAM COMPOSITION:
Each team participating in Vidyavarta must consist of three members, with designated roles for the mediation competition. Participants will engage in a virtual platform setting, and the event will follow a structured process ensuring teams compete under the standards of professional mediation practices.

ELIGIBILITY:
The competition is open to all law students and ADR enthusiasts with an interest in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

REGISTRATION FEE:
The registration fee details will be provided soon, and participants are encouraged to register in advance.

  • Provisional Registration Deadline: 31st January 2025, 11:59 P.M.
  • Final Registration Deadline: 22nd February 2025
  • Competition Dates: 8th – 9th March 2025

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
In addition to the competition, participants will have the exclusive opportunity to attend a complementary training session with Mr. Tom P. Valenti, an internationally acclaimed Arbitrator and Mediator from Chicago, Illinois, who is also associated with INADR-International Academy for Dispute Resolution.

Infinity Lexathon Society's recognition has grown to become a symbol of excellence, as the event is connected with the prestigious PACT Mediation Championship, where the best of national-level ADR participants compete annually. The winners of Vidyavarta 2025 will have the opportunity to intern with leading professionals in the field, providing invaluable career-building opportunities.


APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 5th Feb 2025 by 11:59 pm.  In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
