Deal Mediation Competition
Consists of Preliminary Rounds, Semi-Finals, and Final Round. Each session runs for 60 minutes (45 minutes mediation + 5 minutes caucus + 10 minutes post-negotiation session). The Top 4 teams advance to the Semi-Finals and Top 2 teams proceed to the Final. Mediators and Negotiating Pairs are evaluated independently.

Conducted as an individual event with Preliminary, Semi-Final, and Final Rounds. Each round runs for 25 minutes (18 minutes negotiation + 7 minutes critique). Top participants advance to knockout rounds and the winner is declared Best Negotiator.

Client Counselling Competition
Includes structured counselling sessions where teams consult a client based on a released proposition. Teams are evaluated on client interviewing, legal analysis, communication skills, and professional ethics. The competition progresses through elimination rounds culminating in a final round.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Open to students enrolled in 3-year LL.B. or 5-year Integrated LL.B. programmes.

Maximum 2 entries per institution (where applicable).

Cross-institutional teams are not permitted for Mediation and Client Counselling.

Interested Students before filling out Participation form Must apply by filling ADR APPLICATION FORM latest by 27th February 2026. In case of any query, contact team ADR at soladr@ddn.upes.ac.in, but kindly do not upload wrong information; the application shall be rejected outright, if any discrepancy is found.
